Isla Verde, PR...On June 1st, 2007, the Latin-American Martial Arts Society Hall of Fame 2007 awards banquet was celebrated at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Casino of Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico. This year event was a great successfully. Special guest attended this year hall of fame awards banquet are Master Quoc L. Tran from New Jersey, Sabuhnim Rafael A. Amill Soto from Arizona, Sensei Richard Rivera from Massachusetts, and many others.
The Latin-American Martial Arts Society Hall of Fame was founded in 1993 by Hanshi William “Bill” Solano. The LAMAS Hall of Fame is dedicated to the Recognition of the Martial Artist Worldwide to those that have dedicated themselves to the development and continuous improvement of the Martial Arts in their country and community.
This year is the 15th Anniversary of the Latin-American Martial Arts Society Hall of Fame. Family, friends and students had comes together to celebrate and witness to those who was nominated and inducted to this prestigious recognition. During the banquet, there were entertainment and surprises and also national champion awards given out to those who had endlessly compete in the tournaments all year round and have won 1st place in every tournament.
